ARTIST BIO
As an artist I work primarily in pastels and I also paint in oils. I love the South Jersey landscape and colors; there is a scene to paint wherever you look! The colors of the landscape compel me to create a moment that I experience in nature. Colors that I choose are not necessarily true to and found in the natural world. There is excitement in the prospect of creating light, color, pastel strokes through an arrangement of forms and texture. I derive energy and happiness finding colors that come together to create a composition. I believe in the
beauty of landscape of South Jersey and I try to capture the feel, colors and beauty in my paintings. My hope is that my images inspire and stimulate the viewers senses and capture a moment in time!
Linda Robinson Pastels is currently being exhibited in a variety of galleries. Commission pieces, public speeches, and art classes are also available.
